"What happens when the warm charm of wooden toys meets hands-on interactive fun? The answer: a screen-free play experience that sparks imagination!"

Developed specifically for children with diverse learning and developmental needs, MISC. Toys is a duo of wooden playthings with a hidden magical behaviour. A pair of interactive companions that empower exploration through a series of hand gestures, necessary to bring them to life.

Their abstract shapes invite imagination rather than dictate it, supporting non-prescriptive, open-ended interaction that keeps the toys playable in a variety of ways. This allows them to become anything within the child’s imagination.

Providing children with subtle sensory stimulation through their interactions, MISC. Toys are designed to engage them in the holistic occupation of play, creating moments that feel like magic.

Tickle its buttons, and it purrs like a cat. Roll it, shake it and hear it rattle.

Squeeze its cheeks - and feel a gentle breeze!

Solve the interlocking puzzle and watch it go into sleep mode.

These interactive toys are tangible interfaces designed to support multi-sensory exploration—an approach that has proven especially beneficial for children with diverse learning and developmental needs. The design of MISC. Toys was informed by qualitative research and user testing carried out throughout the development process.

with MISC., the therapy
is an intrinsic part
